Ha! That's the blizzard we had here when we moved into our home! What a day that was....but we did move and get everything in during the snowing and blowing! Which, by the way, is a testament as to how well the roads were taken care of up here - we had a budget truck and I used my old '97 Tracer - we live on the top of a hill, basically, and had no problems making 3 trips back and forth from the rental to our house

Even during the blizzard, the guy that plowed us out at the rental, also kept us plowed out here so we could get in and out of both places....he must have made 6 "plow sweeps" between the two and only charged us a total of $35!

Wow, thanks for all the pictures. We feel cooler already.
Not really, but we can imagine what that snow must be like. Problem is, like your winter, our heat wont let up until November and then cool into the 80s on average. Ah yes, another Christmas with the A/C on.

JFR and Auto, thanks again for the cool pictures.

Maybe I will fry an egg on the sidewalk or cook a roast in my car today????? Hmmmm what are we hungry for?

Captjob - avoiding heat stroke.

Captjob - Fry the egg and take a picture! I'll admit I did that one summer when we were living in NYS - we had a stretch of temps in the high 90's - 100's with oppressive humidity...and yes, I was bored and I tried it - it worked

And no....I did NOT eat the egg it was merely a test
