Hey there! I have a family of 8 (6 kids) and am on the look out for fun and exciting things to do here in the Manchester/Nashua/Bedford area. We are new to NH and don't really know alot about the area. Of course finances come into play since with such a large family the costs can sky rocket in a second! Our kids range from Kindergarten to 6th grade. Would also love to know if there are any dog parks in the area, since our pets like to have fun with us as well. Thanks for any info... it is very much appreciated!!

Canobie Lake Park is fun (small amusement park in Salem). May be out of your budget though? There are probably coupons around.

check out the local YMCA's. They have a variety of summer programs for kids of all ages and it's cost is rated on a sliding scale.

Swimming, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, hiking, and mountain climbing are just some of the options.

Derry has a nice off-leash dog park, but I believe children must be 8 or over to be present. There is a wide variety of dogs, and I've seen adults get bowled over by dogs who are too busy chasing each other to watch where they are going (sort of like watching 8 yr olds play together!) My own dog, who is very calm and laid back at home becomes a crazy man when in the company of other dogs!!
