Default Safe parking in Rochester area

I am travelling up Rt 16 from Rochester and meeting a friend who will be coming from 16 south of Rochester. We are looking for a place to park a car overnight that will be safe. The most obvious place to meet is the new Lowes in Rochester, but not sure if they frown on that or if it is safe. We could also leave the car further north on 16 (Farmington, Milton, etc...). Looking for some place not far off from Rt 16 and safe. I appreciate any suggestions.

Lowe's and Kohl's are at exit 13, route 202. I'm pretty sure you would be fine parked there. It's well lit and there are video cameras everywhere. It's fairly isolated and the parking lot can not be seen from the highway.
