Default Houses seem to be selling fast in Manchester

Hi I have been looking over Manchester RE listings. I understand that Manchester has a gazillion properties on the market. However when you narrow the list down to groupings (depeding on price) it seems that a lot of homes are moving. The tax rate seems reasonable ( I could be wrong on this ) I welcome opinons on this ty Kelty

Unless something has recently drastically changed, the tax rate in Manchester doesn't even come close to being reasonable!

Compare with other areas in NH. (Maybe you're comparing with someplace out of state?)

I would say there are many of us in NH that like to follow real estate trends in our own state of NH. Many of us are recognizable by the way in years past when things were better in the US ..gee I forget when that was would stop our car immediately when coming upon an open house Information is so available in millesecond "Just do a Search in Google ( or your favorite search engine ) and there a "Miracle" you have the information....So what is current (2007 ) in the state of NH right now is the following...Manchester 16.57 Concord 19.63 Derry 22.05 Claremont 32.90 Amherst 19.47 Goffstown 24.70 ...to get information on current tax rates in NH just google NH Tax Town Rates...lots of sites have the current information for the state of NH so that anyone can become knowledgeable in comparisons of towns. Town tax rates are a sensitive issue in NH and understandble so . IMHO it depends what you want in a town and where you would like to liver relative to family, social network, work, shopping

The assessment of the home has a lot to do with how the tax bill looks. I believe t's so much per 1,000 of assessed value, and different communities assess differently. If that's not right, feel free to correct me.

I'm not going to lie...I love the city of Manchester.

Congested as hell, enormous, traffic is sometimes a *****...but for being in NH, there's always so so much to do.
