Default New Hampshire Breed Restrictions

We will be relocating to Nashua, NH from Alaska soon. We are wondering if Siberian Huskies are considered a restricted breed in NH. They are in some states, which is silly. I have found Huskies to be very sweet. Has anyone seen Huskies on the restricted list? Thank you for any info that you may have...

As long as they are not wolf or wolf highbred there are no present breed restrictions in NH. Are they team members? We do have sled races here as well. It would be nice to see a real Alasan team run with the local ones.

Just to add to the discussion - There may be increased homeowner's/renter's policy premiums for some breeds. We had a shepherd mix (who has since died)in NYS and our renter's premium was higher because of that. When we moved here, one of the questions we were asked about when we inquired about renter's insurance and now homeowner's insurance is "Do you own a dog.....and what breed" - The insurance agent told me that some purebred as well as mix breeds do make the premiums higher......so even if a breed is not "restricted" in the state, you still may have to pay a higher insurance premium, so check with an insurance agent if it will make a big difference to you....just something to think about

That's a good point as there are restrictions with the insurance for the home. The list isn't long but there are like 20 breeds on it.
