I can't remember the name of the shop, but it had a nice sign that said ANTIQUES & PRIMITIVES. Check it out. Really cute stuff.

Asta....I feel we have a food connection - Sam's Market in Lancaster AND Johnson's in Northwood (or whatever town it's in on Rt. 4)!!! We, too, love the place. If it wasn't so early in the day on Monday, I would have stopped there. BTW, are you from Lancaster? Don't need to answer that if it's asking you to reveal too much about yourself, just curious if we knew each other.

I spent my early years in Lancaster, but moved away before high school. My father was a businessman in town and remained. I moved back there for about a 6-year period of time before I met my bf and moved to VT. I was just up in Lancaster about three weeks ago. I love going back and seeing how the town has changed, and yet stayed the same! Funny you should say that about Johnson's - once we arrived early in the day, before it opened, and my bf insisted we wait in the car till they opened their doors at 11:00!
