Default bicycling in White Mountains

My hubby and I are taking our first trip to NH next week, staying in Crawford Notch, and we're taking our NON-mountain bikes. I know there's a nice trail in the Franconia area, but is there anywhere else that someone could recommend for casual cyclists? Thanks!

Bicycling in the White Mountains will illustrate the old adage that life can have its ups and downs.

The Loon Mountain area has a nice road bike bath, I do believe.

Lots of people bike down, and up the kancamagus. Mostly road bikes or cycle-cross.

The area near Barlett is nice. It is past Attitash ski resort heading West/North. There are entrances to the White Mountain Nat'l Forest on each side Bear Notch road and some fireroads. Depends on how much, if any, off road riding you'd like. If you like hills, really like hills, take Bear Notch Road from Bartlett back towards the Kangamangus....
