Or Republicrat or Demolican?
Not that I'm trying to pull the thread back on topic or anything , but what do you think of Hollis-- Democratic or Republican?

I don't live in Hollis so I can't say for sure, but according to city-data, the town voted 48% for Kerry and 51% for Bush in 2004.

I would call that a good run down the middle of the road. Ignoring the map.... Does anyone live in Sutton, Warner - or other towns along that road? Are they more one or the other - or right down the middle?

And according to the link I posted earlier, here are the towns that seemed to lean strongly one way or the other in the 2004 election (meaning 60% or more voted for one party):
Republican
Millsfield
Alton
Laconia (ward 1)
Chatham
Moultonborough
Clarksville
Colebrook
Columbia
Dixville
Dummer
Errol
Jefferson
Pittsburg
Benton
Dorchester
Haverhill
Monroe
Warren
Wentworth
Bedford
New Ipswich
Auburn
Candia
Chester
Hampton Falls
Croydon
Democrat
Jackson
Harrisville
Hinsdale
Keene
Marlborough
Nelson
Roxbury
Berlin
Randolph
Easton
Lebanon
Lyme
Plymouth
Manchester (ward 3)
Nashua (ward 4)
Peterborough
Sharon
Concord
Wilmot
Newmarket
Portsmouth
Dover
Durham
Lee
Plainfield
Pinkham's Grant
Hanover
It's hard to say whether these towns will follow the same trend in 2008, though.

Oops, my post about Hollis was inaccurate - those were actually the results for Hillsborough county. Hollis was more like 50/50, with Bush receiving only 27 votes more than Kerry.

Interesting - cause I would have pegged Hollis as leaning a bit more Democrat.
Lisa, BF.. what do you think?
