Default Anyone know Londonderry?

I am going to a concert tonight at the Tupelo Music Hall and am looking for a place to go afterwards with some friends. Looking for a pub - sports bar type of place. A pool table would be great. Anyone know the Londonderry NH area that can make a recommendation?

seamusnh, I wish I had been around to answer your question, it got bumped way way down (sorry) First though, how was the show at Tupelo's? Having such a good venue right here in town is great, we see some really good shows there. Looking forward to hopefully seeing Johnny Winter when he comes back again this year.

The place in town to go after a show would be Whippersnappers. Weekends they have live music, and there are a couple of pool tables out in back. Whippers is just a mile or so east on 102, in the same plaza as Papa Gino's, Hair Update, Play & Trade, etc. If you take a left at the light as though you were going into the Market Basket/Sears shopping area, then take a left toward the Citizen's Bank to get you into that plaza. I know it sounds as clear as mud, but you'll know it if you see it

Thanks. The show was great. I had heard of Tupelo but had not been there. I had seen the Irish band, The Saw Doctors, a dozen times in all sorts of venues, but never anything as small as Tupelo. It was hot, loud and they blew the roof off the place. I know the members of the band and one of the lead singers was saying after the show that he loved playing there. During the show he had said that this was the first time they had played in a BYOB club in the 20 years they had been together. He said it felt as if they were doing something "naughty". He called it a speakeasy....
