Default Rents in Merrimack?

I may be relocating to Merrimack in about a year and I was wondering how the rents are for a 2 bedroon apt or house. A ballpark range is fine. I am relocating from FL, but I grew up in NJ and have also lived in NYC, upstate NY, and DC. We do not like FL at all (except for vacation). Too hot and humid all year and no snow, but we don't have much of a heat bill, so I will have to get used to that again. Anyway, I am trying to get an idea of how much the rents are. In FL we pay $750 per month, and in DC it was $1000. In Syracuse we paid $550 a month and in South Jersey it was about $950 average. Also, are the rents comparable with saleries? I don't mind commuting closer to Boston for work. THANKS!

Our place at Bower's Landing (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom) was $1330/month (including our dog). That included water & heat (big savings) and plenty of free parking. We checked out a lot of places and they were definately the nicest appartments- no weird smells (new paint & new carpet after every resident), no bugs, and a great location, and they were build in '95 and renovated even more recently so incredibly well maintained. Oh- and they had individual A/C units for each bedroom and the main living area- which also cut down on cooling costs when needed since you only had to pay to cool where you were sleeping (and it didn't take much). I think when we did the "whats included vs. price" analysis they were a great deal!

We lived in Society Hill, a Merrimack condo complex for 4 months before we bought. Our rent was $1200 a month for a 2 bedrooom and we paid our own utilities.

Pets are allowed, although we didn't have any at the time. Units include A/C and there is a pool.

Oh...there was a pool, covered parking ($30 extra per space), and a workout area in the clubhouse.
