Our town has a donation site at the transfer station - I just LOVE that. Even though we culled heavily before we moved, somehow we have oddles more that we've decided we don't need and want to donate.

Also - DH says that "everyone" who recycles glass bottles at the transfer station does so by throwing them into the designated area one at a time and smashing them! He said even the old ladies do it.
