We are moving from Texas (Fort Worth). Great state but we really want to raise our children with New England values and patriotism. We have vacationed in New Hampshire for the past 20 years (winter and summer) and now that DH has retired from the military we are ready to plant some roots.

BTW, it was 98 degrees here yesterday - we are ready for cool mornings

Were moving from the Knoxville, Tennessee area, yeah it has been really hot here too. My husband lived in Texas for 6 years and loved it. He said it doesn't feel as hot there as it does here because of the humidity. I think he is just saying that so he can move back there. I really can not stand the heat so I would like to be as far north as possible. I miss the snow. We both are from NJ originally but we don't want to go back there. So NH and Penn came up. I would be happy either place. It is much closer to my family.
