Default Question for Yac

Relative newbie here...what happens if we continue to start/use off topic threads? Maybe I shouldn't even be asking this question. If might be like inviting the principal to our party.

Even as a newbie, I've had no problem finding the information I seek and offering the advice/input people are looking for.

I wrote this in the off topic chat thread, but by consolidating our entire community of friends off topic chats into the off topic chat thread, it becomes like a crowded, noisy party. Too many conversations going on at one time. I have to admit I already stay off the off topic chat thread because it's overwhelming for me. I LIKE being able to see all the different thread titles and being able to pick and choose what I want to participate in.

This same thing happened on another forum I used to frequent. The mods clamped down and everyone went away because it was no longer fun, entertaining, informative, educational.

My 2 cents.

I agree, Its is very crowed in the off topic chat room and I have never had a problem finding the info I needed as well. I do not have much more to add because NHGirl has stated it just right. What is the big deal?

If you feel you need more chat space, there are always the OtherTopics or Community-Chat forums, apart from the chat thread here.
If off topic threads continue to pop up in bulk, just like they did till now - they will be closed. No mod wants to give out infractions for something as trivial as this, but if people continue to do it, ignoring the requests of the mod, it might eventually come to that.
Yac.
