Default Welcome to Rochester

Good Afternoon-
The Rochester Opera House does have productions all year round and they do hold open auditions. Spaulding High School has an amazing drama department and they put on some of best of Broadway Hits past and present!
I believe that there is a Gay and Straight Alliance at Spaulding already. I have seen posts around the school and we did have a day of silence this year put on by the GSA.
Sheet music in Rochester? There is a music store downtown and if they don't have what you are looking for they can point you in the right direction.
See you in the halls at Spaulding.

Rochester is getting better all the time.

I don't have anything to add, I just wanted to be part of the conversation...

Just want to say that I saw the Spaulding High Marching Band a couple of weeks ago, and they were (as usual) just AMAZING!!! They were one of the favorite band/color guard groups to perform. If there are any Spaulding High band parents in the group, you guys ROCK

1--Roger Allen Park is on Chestnut Hill Road--not much in the ways of plays, etc. For that you want to contact the Rochester Opera House. They have entertainers come through and a production company of their own, IIRC.

2--GSA's, not familiar with them. Sorry.

3--Sheet music? You're better off trying some of the stores in Durham and Portsmouth.

why? if they don't have what you want at the Rochester stores, they will order anything.

True, but I'm looking at it from the point of someone who wants it right away. Yes, there are a couple of music stores downtown but I'm not sure how extensive their sheet music collections are outside of your basic rock and roll stuff.
