Honestly, I don't know if this is a "valid" topic/post for here
, but I have looked in the forums in C-D for related issues and haven't found anything. I'll get straight to the point and try to keep this short... we NEED a lawyer (family law), but not just any lawyer.
We need a lawyer that is aggressive, self sufficiant, can "step up" without taking a cue from me or my husband, and preferrably a woman. We are on our 3rd lawyer and still have yet to find one that is the "right fit".
We are involved in a complex and ugly custody battle and it's hard to find the right person that seems to understand that it's not about how much money we pay you, but about the lil ones that are involved and the lives that will be effected come the day of the final trial.
We are not NH natives so our knowledge of who the "good" lawyers are simply does not exist. I have been a loyal reader of the C-D forums for quite some time now and often spend hours reading posts. So when the conversation of hunting for a new lawyer came up, my first thought was "I wonder if anyone on the C-D forums can help", especially seeing first hand how helpful and extremely friendly everyone is here.
So I reach out to anyone who can help me and our family at such a critical time in all of our lives and thank you in advance for any information you might be able to give.
