MtnFlyer, I don't think you steered the thread off topic - it is all to relevant to relocation. You know where I'm coming from . . .

I agree with you Fort Worth is much more laid back than Dallas. We have enjoyed our time here but look forward to starting our lives in New Hampshire. The crime and heat here are the biggest downfalls in our opinion.

Well I didn't mean to steer the thread off course, but was just curious. I'd still much rather live and enjoy the beauty of NH.

That's an interesting note regarding black bears. Are you inside a city or out in a more rural area?
Just in the city limits, but its a town and very rural. Ord. requires 3 acres
for a house so land is plentiful. I like it that way because you can choose
which neighbors you want to associate with.

Farmington, 10 miles north of Rochester. Keep that secret, now.

When people ask me how I like NH I tell 'em that the winters are harsh and so are the people. That keeps the rest of the country out of our little hidden jewel.

FWIW - my wife was going for a walk around the neighborhood in Londonderry a couple of days ago and spotted a coyote.

Now that your sworn to secrecy, I like to sit on the pation with
a freshly brewed cup of Brazilian or Peruvian coffee and watch
Chuck the woodchuck gnaw on my dandelions.
