There was a CD Warehouse or music store the last time I was there, a bank as well. In the same parking lot as the Lilac Mall is Hannafords, Blockbuster and don't know if the Chinese Restaurant is still there and a Pier 1 import.

I haven't been there in a long time so some of those things could have changed. I do know the movie theatre is still there though LOL.

gone and gone...

I never saw the Pier 1 import store, but it may be in the parking lot somewhere next to the pet supply store and the liquor store.

Claires is still there. Blockbuster is gone. I think Radioshack is gone too. Subway is still there. There is a huge chunk of the mall that is empty. Construction is going on where Fashion Bug used to be, so something is going into that space.

I was passing through Rochester this week and stopped into the Lilac Mall at about noon. My first thought upon entering was "how do these businesses stay open?" I think I was the only customer in all JCPenney that I could see. I was also the only customer in the card/gift store. Several small stores I walked passed had no customers with only the employee behind the counter. About 20 people were eating in Papa Ginos and a few people were in Subway. I peeked in KMart and saw only a handful of people. I saw 3 people walking the inner mall and I think my voice would have echoed if I talked loudly. Like I said, not sure how these businesses stay open. (I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a Radio Shack that was open.)
