Default Boscawen

Can anyone give me information on Boscawen? We are planning on visiting there and possibly moving near this town. Any and all info greatly appreciated.

- Hope you have something else to do that day. If you blink, you'll miss it.

We used to live in Boscawen, right on the main drag (King Street). I worked in southern NH and my commute was about 45 min. Concord can be made in 10 minutes. That was from my house. If you want to live in the "country", add 10-15 minutes to those times. The town is a major through-fare for commuters. Real estate is reasonable compared with other towns in the area. We got tired of the traffic on King Street, and moved to Barnstead. We are about 30 min. to Concord now, but MUCH closer to the Lakes and were able to get more house/property for the money. Oh, and a MUCH quieter location.

Why Boscawen? When are you planning your move? Why moving from PacNW? We are packing our bags right now to move to Portland. Maybe we can trade.

We are going to check out Concord and surrounding areas also. My wife has an interview with a company in Boscawen (wire company), so we thought we'd check it out. We are currently on vacation in Maine visiting relatives but live in the outskirts of Anchorage, Alaska. We both prefer quiet, country type living. Although we have that now we both want to move to the New England area.
