Default Took the little guys hunting

First bird hunting trip for Cody(4) and Orion(8).

It was a short one, Cody got tired quick walking through the woods. They had a blast though even though we came out empty. I'm going to take Orion out again this weekend.

They are adorable! Love the name Orion. The most suitable name I know for a hunter

nice, is that a 12 gauge he's shooting, looks a little big for him.

I'll always remember my first day out hunting, I went through over a box of shells and came home with 2 teal....

That was my 12ga Beretta. He's not big enough to shoot at birds yet. Another year or two.

Funny you mention going through shells, I was the same way when I first went duck hunting too.

Gotcha, still good to teach them some firearm safety early on and get them a day in the field with dad. Thanks for passing on the sport to the next generation.

Never done any partridge hunting since they didn't occur in my parts of Ohio. I'd live to give a try one of these days now that I'm up here. Until then I'm content with ducks...got a banded teal last night
