Is there anywhere in the Manchester area where I can buy different beans, grains etc for less than $1/lb? I ask because Stop n Shop sells all sorts of beans by the pound, but $1/lb isn't really a deal. I don't need to buy 5 lb bags; in fact I don't have a way to store that much. But I used to go to a store than just had stuff in bins and you scooped out what you wanted. Anything like that around here?

Here's a list of NH food co-ops with 2 in Manchester. Perhaps they sell in bulk.

I was going to suggest the same as nhrocky..there must be some natural food stores in the Manchester area. These stores are very likely to have bulk foods.
Good luck!

A Market Natural Foods is the place to go for bulk dry goods in the Manchester area. It's located at 125 Loring St. near the Shaw's plaza just off S. Willow. They'll have exactly what you're looking for.
