Default Tell me about Temple

Does anyone on this board live there? I'm looking at a move in a few years to the Monadnock region. Temple is one of the places I'm especially interested because it is in Conval school district, is very rural and (from what I've read online) seems to have a friendly, active community. Is it a good place to raise middle-schoolers as well as dogs and hens? We're currently in southern NH and want something somewhat close to our jobs (Amherst/Nashua area) but a lot more rural minded. Is it a place where one could set up a small pet grooming shop and survive? Or is the town too small to support any sort of business? Thanks in advance, I plan to make the drive soon but right now I'm working two jobs so rarely have a free day to check it out.

Also thinking about Jaffrey, Wilton, Greenfield & Mont Vernon
