Default Good Lobster Pounds?

Just looking for some lobsters before season is over and prices go back up. I need to stock up because for whatever reason my freezer tripped off the other day and I lost a significant portion of the contents, including ALL the lobster, which fortunately wasn't much.

I know off the dock prices are hovering around $4 a pound for the chicken lobsters, but what about at seafood shops and lobster pounds? I'd rather just get a single 5-lb bug and be done with it, not to mention the price per lb. of meat would be less.

The Market Basket chain of grocery stores has had fresh live lobster at $3.99 a pound for the last week and I believe into this week. I was told on Saturday that the store I was in just got several cases of lobster and that the low price would probably last another week.
Lately we have had the store steam them for free for us as it means less mess in our kitchen.
