Well, at least we aren't completely crazy!!!

i've started being very careful w/the produce i get at MB cuz i think the others are right it is poor quality... but it is cheaper... so if its veg i'm going to eat RIGHT away i buy it at MB otherwise i wait til i can head to shaws or hannifords.... i put it on par w/walmart produce... which i'm NOT a fan of...

I haven't noticed a smell in Londonderry's MB, but I tend to buy all of my non-produce items there. Since we have 3 grocery stores in town, it's no big deal to get the best deals on non-perishables and canned goods, pasta, etc, then hop over to Shaws or Hannafords for better quality veggies & fruits. If the sun ever decides to come out again, there are also farm stands in the area where we can get locally grown food.

imo it depends which MB you go to. The only one in my area I am willing to shop at is the one on Amherst St. behind the Pier 1 imports, but I only go there if necessary. Just read about meat bleaching and am disgusted. A quality butcher in the Nashua area would be very welcome.
