Default State and local elections

Can we leave off Obama and McCain for a while? I'm totally lost as to who to vote for at lower levels. Right now Shaheen, Sununu, Lynch, Shea Porter, they're just names to me. Did we move too late in the day for this election? I'm tempted to just leave those areas blank because I don't want to make such ill-informed (or uninformed!) votes. ]

It's probably easy for me to look up what they "stand" for, but where I can I find non-partisan info on what any of them have actually accomplished, or done negatively for NH? Or is that too tall of an order?

Well you missed the Bradley/Shea Porter debate last night. However, WMUR has it broken up into clips on their website. Tonight is the other congressional debate, Wednesday is the debate for governor and Thursday is the debate for senate. These are all on WMUR and all start at 7:00. That might give you a start.

I used to have a website with voting record info- I will see if I still have it.

I suggest getting a sample ballot from town hall and voting for all of the Democrats. At least we don't try to cheat with "off budget" items at the state level.

I don't believe this is the information that she asked for I believe she was looking for non-partisian information.

It is channel 9. I am still looking for that website-my husband might recall it and I will post it if he does.

WMUR is TV-9, but on some cable stations it may be on 12. WMUR is located in Manchester.

Nah... Do what I do for fantasy football... Pick the players with the coolest names. Richie Incognito made my roster this year.
