Railroad Square is at the Northern end of Main st. by the big Civil War memorial and cannons (also called Library Hill) and if driving South from the Civil War monument, the Korean Market is the second right after Amherst St. The entrance is about 30 feet from Main street and the Thayer Ct. is only about 150 feet long. Park right in front of the door.

Default Update: Korean Market in Nashua

We finally made it to the Korean Market on Thayer Ct this morning. The previous owners sold it to an Indian couple, and they are in the process of getting new inventory, so right now the shelves are pretty bare. The plan is to keep it mostly Korean but offer other Asian products as well. No plans to turn it into an Indian market because apparently there are already two of them in town.

There is a great Korean restaurant in Nashua as well (they also have Sushi). It's called Shira Kuku and its off broad street (take exit 6, head toward downtown, it will be on your left. Pretty awesome and the nicest folks working there.

I'll have to ask them for some store suggestions; their suggestions for things so far have been great!

awesome! we'll have to take a trip into nashua soon i think!

we got some recommendations from the ppl at Sarah Thai (which has really good food btw!)... he was very welcoming n told us all about the local area where to go n where the nearest Korean community (FH is korean) was n the nearest korean church...

we also went into portland maine n randomly stumbled upon a korean rest. that was AWESOME! n the guy there also gave some good advice...

idk why ppl in NH get the "unfriendly unwelcoming rap" everyone we spoke to was so helpful n welcomed us into the community quite readily...
actually now that i ponder this... i think there's just a few bad apples that spoil it for everyone b/c we did have a woman in target walk over towards us to "look" at something... a towel i think... she gave me the dirtiest look n mumbled "disgusting" under her breath but loud enough for me to hear it... by the time i had processed WHY she said that she was gone... i'm assuming she had/has a problem w/us b/c we're an "interracial" couple but i ignored it and brushed her off ...

anywhoo sorry to have gone off topic LOL back to the regularly scheduled thread...
