Default Best Hospital in Southern NH to have baby in?

I live in Southern NH and would like recommendations from anyone that has had their baby/babies delivered in any hospitals in Southern NH. I had my first baby delivered in Winchester Hospital, MA and loved it there but it is too far to go next time so I would like to deliver my next baby preferably up here in NH. Any suggestions on OB/GYN's, Hospitals please? I was thinking maybe about St. Joseph's Hospital Nashua, or Southern NH Medical Center. Anyone had any experience delivering babies in either of these Hospitals? I am also looking for a good OB/Gyn. Thanks!

All of my children were born in Massachusetts (Anna Jacques in Newburyport has a wonderful birthing center!) so I don't have direct knowledge of which is best. However, Elliot Hospital in Manchester has one of the state's best Newborn ICU's. (NICU) My nephew was born at 24 weeks gestation (not a typo) and he spent the next 4 months there until he reached his birth age. Today, nearly 7 years later, he's doing wonderfully, and the family attributes his sucess to the top quality care he received at Elliot. Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua also has a NICU, which handles births up to 12 weeks early. Congratulations on your 2nd!

Thanks Valerie for the info! Yes I also had my first in Massachusetts! I have read about Southern NH Medical Center and that is not too far from me so that would be good and I have been to their Emergency room a couple of times with my son and they have wonderful staff who have always been very professional and efficient. Elliot Hospital sounds wonderful but might be a little far, if I were to go there I might as well go to Mass, but I might check it out. That is wonderful about your nephew! A true miracle baby! Thanks for the info!

I understand Exeter to be most excellent. If we're lucky enough to have another, it'll be there (Health-Insurance-Coverage permitting).

I would go with Elliot Hospital in Manchester as well. That is where I was born!
