Are there any Autism centers in NH and or support groups anyone knows of? We are moving to NH in the near future and will need to find resources for our son. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.....
bryfry, I know that there is an autism center in Nashua which I've heard really good things about. Also the Autism Society of NH (Home-Autism Society of New Hampshire) may be a good contact for you.
There is another organization, Partners in Health, that I've had personal experience with who may be a really good contact for you. I'll forward you the contact information, names and phone numbers for the folks we worked with. They were incredibly helpful to our family a few years back.

Thanks so much for the info Val!!! It will help a great deal!!
The Birchtree Center for Children is in Portsmouth NH and they are an autism program for Preschool through grade 8. Child Development Center of Strafford County in Rochester NH also has a program for preschoolers, not sure if they can offer older kids anything. Crotched Mountain Rehab Center, in Greenfield NH has a program for kids 5-21, Easter Seals Lancaster School has an autism program for middle school kids(residential), Lakeview Neurorehabilitiation Center, in Effingham Falls also has a residential program for grades 1-8. The Seacoast Learning Collaborative, in Brentwood NH has an autism day program for grades 1-8, and the Spaulding Youth Center in Tilton NH has both a day and residential autism program. All of these places can be found on the internet. Good luck.
AngelaK - great info! I wish I could rep you for your amazing response to this question! (I don't know how the rep thing works, I just think I am too new to do it?) My nephew has Asberger's syndrome and a great program has made all the difference for him and the whole family! Hope you find a great program for your son BryFry!!
