Dare,
I'm renting in Gilmanton for now. Looks like the low there for tomorrow night is about zero. I left the heat tape on, but that doesn't do much good if there's no power.
Tried to call the landlord, but no answer. I hope he kept a key because mine is with me!

Hi everyone-we just finally got power back on. We got hit with ice pretty hard here in my city in the Lakes region and lost power last night. My husband-whose employer is in Dover and NEVER closes was closed today
We went out for a while and everywhere around us had power-Gilford, Meredith, even other parts of our city-that is everywhere except us We finally just got it back-yea!
Driving around-we saw so many trees knocked down from ice. We were talking to a guy we know in Cumberland Farms when they had just got the power back on. He told us when he originally called PSNH, he was told it could be 3-6 days to get it back on. Thank God they were wrong.
I hope everyone gets their power on and stays safe and warm.

Do you folks get alot of storms like this?
My wife is being transfered to Nashua soon and we will have to move. We get snow here too, but not like the kind you get. Should I get a four wheel drive or can we get around with regular cars? thanks

it's not bad to have a 4 wheel drive but you don't have to have one. it's a matter where you live. now if you live out here in central ny like i do now i would get one.
