jthibodeau - Since the title is NH Weather, I would guess it's okay to post snow totals......whether it is or isn't - we got about 4-5 inches (guesstimate) - nowhere near the 12-24 predicted.....as usual

We got well over a foot of snow and are on pace with last winter-when my city had the snowiest winter on record. I never thought I would say this, but I am starting to get sick of it. I think all the rain and snow over the past 4 years is making me cranky. We don't get four seasons anymore- we get one season-wet.

Londonderry got about 8" of the fluffy white stuff, which I should have picked up early in the day because during late afternoon, the temps got warmer and the snow changed into ice pellets (still ok) than into rain, which turned 8" of fluff into 5" of wet and extremely heavy slush which was NOT fun to pick up (I got my cardio AND weights workout all in one!!!) I really and truly don't mind shoveling SNOW, but I really HATE the mixed bag precipitation we've gotten from the last several storms.

Looking forward to GraniteStater's take on this storm, and also looking forward to posting on this thread about a lovely warm spring day, and even an occasional 'gee can you believe how hot it is' post

I plowed 5 inches before dark yesterday, I see I've 3 more to move this morning. This last 3 inches contains a lot of frozen rain, which I refer to as ball bearing snow.

I received about 9 inches from this storm with a little sleet mixed in. The next storm looks to arrive in the Tuesday/Wednesday time frame with another mixed bag of precipitation. This one could start as rain, change to a mix, and then back to snow. I don't see any large arctic outbreaks anytime soon as we are now headed toward the warmer side of this winter pattern. January has been about 5-6F below average for most of NH with the coldest lows of around -40F have been recorded in Coos County.

The thaw will last Saturday through Monday for southern NH. Expect highs close to 40F. Northern areas and higher elevated areas will see 30s for highs.

I read in the paper today that my town is actually ahead in snowfall from this time last winter and last winter was the snowiest on record Hopefully we will not break last year's record.

Based on the data I would think anywhere between 15-25 inches. We have had a thaw recently, but probably less melting in the northern areas. If it is at a higher elevation I would suspect a deeper snowdepth.
