ODD though I know a lot of politicians, and not a one has mentioned this to me either. Thinking I should take the offer and Run. LOL That is what the state needs a dyslexic, Raised in the projects, young republican in office. But hey I would almost double my salary if i took Lynch out of the Gov seat. Maybe I should make a call. LOL For the political handicap there is a difference between a Young Republican and a Right Republican.

I will take a fiscal conservative any day of the week compared with a neoconservative or a social conservative. To understand why so many of us were glad to see the Bush administration finally end I would recommend reading "The Shadow Factory."

He just must be a "really nice guy" the kind that some people seem to like to vote for.Competence, integrity, experience and responsibility have taken a back seat to being a "really nice guy" to the common American Voter. If it didn't you would see a lot more qualified candidates in the system. Not pointing any finger's here though.Have a "really nice" day!

Unfortunately for his opponents Lynch is also competent, honest, experienced, responsible and a nice guy. He has instituted policies that are good for the entire state even if they annoy both the right (civil unions) and the left (no income tax).
If I were governor and was getting all this budget flack I would be publishing the previous 10 years budgets and pointing out the Republican off the budget spending. If I was really pushed I would cut way back on snowplowing. After all in the "live free or die" state if you cannot afford new studded snow tires every year you should not be on the road. Why should the state spend taxpayer money keeping you safe?

The political discourse in this country is down the toilet.
The following was explained to me while getting my hair cut; a truly informed NH voter:
"Bush only won in 2004 because of this technicality called the electronical vote; McCain should have won"
This is not a statement for/against either party. All elections are being determined by voters who are essentially clueless about the electoral process, political decision making, and the background knowledge required to understand what the right/relevant decision is. Instead its a popularity content generally focused around 2-3 issues instead the the gamut of thousands that are most important but otherwise ignored.

There is no basis for this allegation. Repeatedly people on this forum have pointed out the 2007 - 2009 budget increase created by the Democrat held state senate and state house which Gov. Lynch signed. There have been links provided to the nh.gov website that show the increase. GregW continues to try to blame this on Republicans with some voodoo budget theory that some Democrat politician told him. He has absolutely nothing to back up his claim. He should put up or shut up....
