Default Winter fog?

Do particular areas of New Hampshire get a winter fog that hangs around town? An example is in the pacific northwest- it is foggy throughout winter in the coastal areas!

It can get real bad around the Lakes Region when the warm air hits the snow. Also Concord can be difficult due to its geography.

It's usually too cold to have any fog in winter....staying below freezing for weeks at a time. There will be some during the thaw, especially in low lying areas and close to water sources like stated above.

as stated above, winter fog is rare. However, you will find areas around the Merrimack River where it's still open that generates fog, such as in Hooksett, below the PSNH power plant. The river is always open there because the plant uses the water for cooling and then puts the warmed water back into the river.

It's not NH, but I drove through Naples, ME and they had fog yesterday. It was so bad, I could barely see to drive.

Wednesday's storm brought "frozen fog" - a new concept for me...
It was a tinkling icy white-out, glad I wasn't on the road at the time.

No........there is fog on days when it gets warm with a lot of snow on the ground. Most days are quite free of fog, or clouds. Lol, this is not London
