Most people here are probably aware of Bethlehem's struggle with Casella Waste Systems. Seems like some of the Bethlehem folks have found a creative outlet for voicing their opinions. This is really worth watching!
For anyone interested in an update of this, apparently Casella has filed a lawsuit against the NH Department of Environmental Services because Casella applied for a permit and NH DES denied the application due to concerns about groundwater quality and concerns about the design.

Thank you so much "SLALOM"
I appreciate your initial post & for keeping us informed on this!
I was not able to view the video from your post, but I GOOGLED it, and
found it. The whole thing is SAD!! I hope & wish they would just
leave NH!!! They are not just bringing TRASH from the State of NH, but from
other states as well! Why does NH have to be the DUMPING ground
for several states!!??? What a shame!!
And of course its AFFECTING the groundwater,
the soil & the AIR we breathe!!
THANK YOU "SLALOM" Please keep us posted!
Take care,

Casella stock has completely crashed. Six months ago, it was over $14 per share. Today it was 55 cents. They had a conference call last week and I guess they're having trouble with their banks or something. They have a HUGE amount of debt for a waste company, so if the banks don't renew their loan, they have a lot of money (hundreds of millions) that they're going to have to come up with.
Here's an update for anyone who is curious. First two paragraphs are excerpted below, much more at the link. I guess that that leak wasn't "hypothetical" after all.
The truly sad thing is that this dump is located on top of an aquifer.
Landfill finds contaminant leaks
Company denied breach for months
by Chelsea Conaboy, Monitor staff
Operators of a large commercial landfill in Bethlehem have found leaks in the containment systems meant to prevent contaminants from escaping into groundwater. That acknowledgement comes after months of denials that such leaks were possible.
North Country Environmental Services, a subsidiary of Casella Waste Systems, has stayed a lawsuit against the state that said the Department of Environmental Services could not deny its application to expand the landfill based on a "hypothetical liner leak."...
