NH's rock and roll mayhem!
No not now..38 years ago. In the quaint seaside resort strip of Hampton Beach, on a hot July night at the Casino ballroom, 4,000 unticketed fans overran the place. They broke through sky lights, scaled walls and stormed the stage all because of a sold out show by Jethro Tull, a quick search reveals that for whatever reason Tull seems to have drawn that kind of response at least a couple of more times elsewhere.
For those who did not know, The Casino has hosted the likes of Led Zepplin. Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin, they have also refused the likes of the Rolling Stones from peforming at their venue.

The Casino is still active and has some great shows. On a warm summer night the place can be hot, the wooden floor gets bouncing (the place is built above an arcade) and the salt air breeze comes in through the windows. With a good band, it can be a lot of fun....

Saw George Thoroughgood and the Destroyers at the Casino last summer, and WOW the man can STILL put on a great show, tell a great story and rock the house. The Casino is a great place to see a local show without driving 2 hours and breaking the bank
