I'd have to say Sutton. Though any town in the Kearsarge District is A+. We are close to I89 for you folks that need to commute to work and are nestled in mountains, lakes and farming communities. Still a lot of small town charm.
Best of all worlds. Rednecks and flatlanders coming together.

Thanks for responding to the poll. I updated the poll options to include every town north of Concord. Sutton is quite nice, and I enjoyed visiting the Native American museum there I believe.

That's in Warner. Another most excellent town!
Next time your in town look at field below the museum. There is a flock of sheep there and there are several brand new lambs there. Very cute!

Pittsburg. I love to hike, fish, snowshoe, etc. Nothing is more peaceful than sitting at Third Connecticut Lake and looking out knowing the shore line will never be developed. My husband and I sit there and you hear nothing but the sounds of nature-no cars, nothing. It is one of the most calming and peaceful places for me. Fourth Connecticut Lake-the trail is a teasure. Plus any town that has more moose than people is a great town as far as I am concerned.

That is great. The 4th Connecticut Lake trail is neat and has the possibility to spot different wildlife and birds. Enjoy!

I agree with Nicole . Although I live in Colebrook I spend a lot of time in nearby Pittsburg. I enjoy the Magalloway area. Hunting and fishing is the best. There is nothing like finding a little stream that winds thru the woods and dropping a fly in and letting it drift downstream only to latch onto a native brook trout. I've hunted there and at times just marveled at the scenery and the wildness of the area.
