I went to UNH for both my Bachelors and my Masters degrees, and I have to say, I loved UNH. I lived in Durham, Newmarket, Dover and Rochester while going to UNH. When I lived on campus, I worked out in Portsmouth at the mall, and used the COAST bus system to get back and forth. Overall, very convenient. And in my opinion, UNH is quintessential New England....I loved it. There is plenty to do in the area...biking, kayaking, golfing,etc...there are a couple of restaurants in Durham, but Portsmouth is the place to go for that kind of thing, mostly. I fell in love with UNH when I first saw it, and I still love it to this day.
