Default Seabrook, New Hampshire..Adams street..to the beach, can you walk to the beach?

Seabrook, New Hampshire....I have found a rental I am considering....located on Adams Ave.
The ad says 1 mile to the beach, google it and 3 miles come up. Does anyone know this area well enough to answer a few questions? Is it safe to walk to the beach from Adams Ave (from cars), what about bicycling? to Newburyport? Where would I go to grocery shop? What is your view of the coastal town of Seabrook, NH?
I am moving to New England next Wednesday, April 1st, the roadtrip begins....hi jay ....jay I have been all
over looking as you know....and can you believe I started in Portsmouth....what a story this has been to tell someday!! HUGE LEARNING EXPERIENCE....very educational one indeed....

I'm from New Hampshire and visit Seabrook quite a bit in the summer. The beach there is pretty nice and you can park on the main road and easily walk the few hundred feet to the beach. Also, Hampton is only a few minutes north of Seabrook and it has the strip with all types of stores, arcades, places to eat, etc. Seabrook is more of a private beach, with it lined by homes and no businesses.

It is about one mile to the ocean. I can't remember if they have public beaches right there or not. Anyway, Seabrook is a beautiful town. If you're trying to do away with the car, though, I'd consider something right on Route 1 or 1A, the latter if you're looking for something near the beach. It's much cheaper to get a place on the western side of 1A/Ocean Blvd.

type in the address in the above posted link - you will get a pretty good picture of exactly where Adams street is.

Check out your old addresses...your current address....etc. It's fun and amazing how well recorded everyone's property is.
