God Save America! We are really in big trouble as evil forces now control the majority of the Free Press, Television, and Hollywood! It reminds me of that movie. Invasion of the Body Snatchers!
Very Very Sad!

There was a tea party scheduled in Concord too, but that looks like it a bust and has joined with the Manchester tea party.
Wish there was one in Concord at the state house. Bring the issues home to those elected officials in the Capitol.

I agree- I believe Concord would have been a much better location.

Let's apply ourselves to the extent of our potential, work extraordinarily hard long hours and maintain the highest standards possible just so we can achieve success and share it with those who are not willing to make the effort to apply themselves, work hard or take the risks necessary for success. Unfortunately the next generation will not be motivated to achieve much at all considering it won't matter, they will be taken care of by the 'rich' anyway. Standards will deteriorate and even less will be expected of society. You sound more like a socialist than a moderate liberal, Jeff. I have worked for 10$ an hour, but proud and grateful for the opportunity. Would you really feel good about yourself getting handouts?

Jeff - You have the right idea. The problem is the tax burden extends to those of us making $100 per hour with the big breaks going to the elite making $1,000 per hour or more. Even bigger breaks go to the folks that live off their "property" without work.
BTW - lisa g's methods work about 5% of the time but are extolled by the true believers 100% of the time. Work hard and you will succeed is the biggest part of the big lie. Why are the wealthy proud of getting handouts (return on investment and/or unearned profit) from all of us working for a living but anyone that takes a handout, unless they area government contractor, even if the handout is desperately needed, from the government is supposed to feel guilty.

Spoken like a true socialist.
Anyone who thinks the higher income brackets don't pay their "fair share" of tax is either delusional or is purposely trying to mislead others.
I suppose in Greg's socialist dream world people like me should be paying for the 40+ million who don't pay any federal tax. Because not having a flat rate is fair right?
The Tax Foundation - Number of Americans Paying Zero Federal Income Tax Grows to 43.4 Million
