For those looking for a nice Sunday drive, the "Old Province Road" (Route 107 between Northwood and Laconia) is one of my favorites. I always opt for this route when traveling between the Lakes and the Seacoast rather than I-93 straight to Route 4.

Winding roads, horse farms, open fields, historic architecture... what more can you ask for? And if you happen to be driving along 107 on July 31 - Aug 2, stop in Pittsfield to see the hot air balloon festival.

Squam Lakes, Sandwich and Newfound Lake area are great. I also recommend the 3 corridor in Coos County all the way to the border as well as some of the scenic roads of I-89 between Sunapee and Lebanon.
