Jobs in Keene area (job market, income, quality of life)

Hi everyone, Just found this forum and even though I do have some relatives in Keene I am hoping to find some more local insight here. My wife and I are very intent on moving to the Keene area. We now live in Maryland but go to NH often in all seasons and think its about time to move. Of course with any big life changing decision there are many factors to consider. This forum has been very helpful and I have learned many things I did not know.The biggest part for us is finding new jobs. We know that our income/lifestyle may decrease but our quality of life will more than make up for it. I know that everyone has their own opinion on this but it is not the only reason for the move. We are planing on coming back to Keene this spring and while there looking at the job market. I hope I'll be able to get some constructive advice from all of you to help us in our search. Here is a little background.... Just my wife and myself no kids or other dependents. My wife works in the medical software industry with over fifteen years experience. I am an A&P (aircraft mechanic) with over twenty four experience. I know Keene airport is small but would love to get back into the smaller general aviation planes or even a different career I could use my skills. We have been looking online at the job sites and local newspapers but there is nothing like a local view. Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.
