Default AAH!80 degrees on its way!

Warm temps due for Thusday + Friday will cretainly give rise to black flys, especially after this rain. I've had the black flys literally chase me out of the woods in a swarm.

Be sure to take your DEET with you this weekend on your walks. The warm temps + rain will also get the beuds on the trees going!

Those "mosquito dunks" work on black fly larvae as well. They also aren't based around chemicals and use naturally occuring threats to the larvae to do the job.

That said...the buggers can still fly up to a mile.

I am not looking forward to 80-85F. That is very warm. 60s or 70s for highs and 30s at night would be far more comfortable.

I am looking forward to seeing some green leaves, but 70 is about as warm as I want it. Except maybe for a couple of weeks in July when I take vacation then a little hotter is ok.

Colebrook- it should be around 75F even for northern Coos County by this weekend The upper level pattern looks to lock in a ridge of high pressure over the eastern US for several days. This means much above average temperatures.

I just checked the GFS computer model. It looks quite warm for the day 4 through day 10 period.

SFT is on a distinguished road
Same here BF, trying out a few things after I just cleared some room in my parent's yard.

I want 80 degrees right now. I love going to the beach and usually a good temperature for that is around 80. 70s with breeze is too cool and 90s you cook.
