I'm pretty sure you can only ride them on private land if you have the owners permission. The "trails" you're thinking of are for bicycles and pedestrians, no motored vehicle is permitted on them

Cool I never told you LOL

How ever( unofficially) there is a good ridding spot out at Rock Rimmon. Growing up it was called Niger's Field. But Now it is just referred to as the pits. Best access is across from A big cemetery on the west side. I believe it is Mt Calvary on Goffstown Rd. I know alot that ride there. Also Cluff State park has ridding as well as Hackett Hill. Park by the tolls and you can see the trail going in.

Hackett Hill is in Hooksett. Most power lines allow dirt bikes and horses etc. There are logging trails all through the woods of NH and some are marked for dirt bikes.

some marked snowmobile trails also allow dirtbikes in the summer and the abandoned rr tracks make for some good riding.

all trails are accessible for biking and hiking, etc. unless specifically marked.

I don't know if there's much riding in the south but up north, there are thousands of miles that are maintained by the state for both dirt bikes or 4 wheelers. My nephew and brother ride their dirt bikes all the time up there and no it doesn't cost anything. The cost of your registration each year pays for them to maintain the trails all year long.
