Default Cycling group rides in southern new hampshire

Hi
we recently moved to the Manchester area and my husband (who races - road bikes) is looking for a fairly fast/hard cycling group ride in the area.

Anyone have any info?

Many thanks

Gayle

I dont know of any group rides below the lakes but may I suggest some starting points:

First thing you should do is visit a local shop. Here is a page for group rides by Alternative Bike and Naults in Manshester. Even if the rides arent pushing him he should be able to find some more info from the shop staff or other riders at the rides.

For the Concord region there's NH Cycling Club.

All over NH there's the Granite State Wheelmen though their rides tend to be more of the relaxed cruising variety that non-cyclists go for.

Further North there's White Mountain Velo. They have some pretty intense rides with, obviously, a lot of climbing.

Right in the middle there's Lakes Region Cycling. They have a couple of nice group rides that are ongoing though I believe one of the sponsoring shops has gone out of business.

90% of the time up here when you say "bike" they hear "motorcycle."
