Post Mount Washington Valley Question

My parents are retired and looking to possibly move to the Mount Washington Valley area in northern Carroll County. I was wondering if any posters here on city-data know how highly the hospital in North Conway is rated. My father has some health issues including type I diabetes so this is a very important consideration.

Honestly, I am from that area, and have been told by many that the hospital does a great job.
I have no personal experience with the hospital, have never needed it's service.
been also told it is not as big as the one in Plymouth, but has about 60[+/-] beds and an E/R.

HTH...

I know people who have used the ER there and were satisfied (broken bone, food poisoning). I have been to the walk-in clinic in town and it was fine. However, when my family needs something serious they go to hospitals and specialists in larger cities. I don't have any reason to think that Memorial wouldn't be adequate, but I doubt there is anyone there who is performing, say, heart surgery with the same degree of regularity as a cardiac surgeon at a big hospital in Boston.
