I know, I would love to take my family up to the Balsams if we ever win the lottery. There are moose out in the early morning where my (extended) family lives, but I am too lazy to go look for them...

I saw a mommy and baby bear in Hollis this weekend, same place I saw just one bear last year. They (again) ran into the woods when my Jeep came up over the hill.

Saw some tracks this winter, and their "handiwork" on our neighbors bird-feeder as well (metal pole bent 90 degrees to a more accessible height).

Wow! Where was that? I have a friend who saw one by the dump last summer.

I'll DM it since I want any hunters to have to track them down the hard way (rather than searching the web).

(Edit: Let me clarify, I have no issues with hunting at all- I just want the hunter to go through the hard work rather than just reading my posts)

A moose was photographed recently in Hollis also, on Van Dyke Rd.
