The Craigslist ad was in the NH edition, figured that'd make it a local issue.

This thread is kinda like those "Free Speach Zone" boxes at the airports.

You know, those yellow 10X10 ft areas where you can "exercise your rights".

Ok I have to ask as most cities in NH are having elections real soon. Is anyone actually paying attention to them? More specifically ( The Manchester mayoral election of 2009 preliminary municipal election is scheduled to occur on September 15, 2009)

On the "Free Speach Zones" I'll admit its been a loooong time since I've flown but I've seen them at JFK, ORD, SEA & LAX.

...and on the Obamacare issue, I've e-mailed some young Libertarians / Conservatives familiar with Saul Alinsky's work. They've already had a few responses from their replies to the ads.

Default Democracy in New Hampshire

Last time I checked, it was the same everywhere. New Hampshire just happens to have a bunch of sharpies.

Gotta look out. Their mark is indelible.

Where's the outrage over Shea-Porter's disgraceful behavior at the Manchester town hall meeting yesterday, where she had a retired cop thrown out of her meeting because he dared to stand up and interject with a question when he had not won a lottery ticket that she had raffled to allow people to ask her questions.

Watch the video for yourself. This is sickening, and note her smug taunt to him on his way out. What a low life this Che-Porter is. How on earth did people in the 1st district vote to elect this person?

Please tell me there is someone who is seriously slated to challenge her.

Honestly, most of what you have to say is very much misinformed.

Let's just say I agree to disagree with you and leave it at that.

These "European and Asian countries" are protecting their manufacturing base, something we are not doing.

The real issue here is Big Government's stranglehold on our economy. BOTH major parties continue to insure their survival by providing their subjects with bread and circuses - and nothing more.

We import many products we used to manufacture. I'll admit I'm no master of economics but no country can sustain itself unless it is selling at least at much as it is buying.

Unless and until this country regains prominence as a producer of goods our standard of living will continue to decline.

Frankly speaking, IMHO we already are a second world country. Take off the rose colored glasses and have a good look at what's happening in some of the more depressed areas of our country.

The decline is in full swing and has been for some time.
Great Post Mr Twigg! However, I would have to add we have not only become a second world country but more so have reinstated the Feudalism Doctrines of the 1500's. How can a true democracy be sustained when you have political feudal lords in power for 20 to 30 + years! Just the lobby money alone would be enough to build everyone a 200 square foot home in all of New England!:c rying:
