Its called the "Bill of Rights" and the powers that be need to know the people will NOT permit this to be interepeted as a "Bill of Privlidges".
Gerrymandering and cronyism will only be tolerated for so long. Election fraud was dealt with by Citizens once at The Battle of Athens. This very well may happen again but on a much broader scale in our lifetime unles both major political parties wake up and stop shredding the Constitution. I'm no advocate of armed inssurrection BUT I do read history.
You know what they say about those who cannot remember their history...

Ten years or so after our Articles of Confederation the authors of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia demonstrated how power corrupts, as Term Limits were part the Articles of Confederation but conveniently removed by those in power during our Constitutional Convention.
Not discounting the brilliance of our constitution but it just goes to show how King George's rule of a continent by a small island had influenced our founding fathers.

Watch the video for yourself. This is sickening, and note her smug taunt to him on his way out. What a low life this Che-Porter is. How on earth did people in the 1st district vote to elect this person?
Please tell me there is someone who is seriously slated to challenge her.

Yes there is. And without a doubt she is out. She is a nut job. Scared of her own shadow.

I agree, she's finished in 2010. The mayor of Manchester is going to win the seat.

They had the guy she kicked out on Fox news this morning. They were all really laying into her. Even with the "fair and balanced" fox spin aside, she looked awful and this was probably the nail in the coffin. Goodbye......

She is even shunned by her own party voters. After they meet her they don't vote for her again. She came in on a wave. Than she was able to stay there on an Obama. Now she is done. I heard even the Democratic party itself has wrote her run off.

And so it begins... Why do democrats always need more money? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY? It's a f-ing broken record with them. They always take more money and more freedoms and they never stop.
NH Watchdog: House Speaker opens door to Income Tax

In an editorial board interview with the Portsmouth Herald, House Speaker Terie Norelli says that she's open to an income tax to fix New Hampshire's budget problems.

Norelli also defends the $11.5 billion state budget passed in June, which included 38 tax and fee increases and boosted total state spending by over $1 billion. She also expects the state to win its appeal in the Joint Underwriting Association case.

It truly never ends with these tax and spenders. This should be a wakeup call to everyone-we need to send all these tax and spenders home in 2010. If the same tax and spenders get in, for a third election, then I fear we will have an income tax-on top of all the fees and taxes that have been implemented/raised in the past few years. Why on earth does a state with 1.2 million or so people have a budget of 11.5 billion? I cannot believe that is acceptable to people. Even worse, some people think that it is not enough. I still don't understand how this woman has the nerve to call this budget "lean". If that is not enough to get her sent home then I don't know what is.
If an income tax is implemented-your other taxes will not go down. These greedy politicians and leeches on society will just demand more of your $$.

That is the most important message about an income tax. It won't lower other taxes or fees. It will simply GROW the state government. When it grows the appetite for money grows with it. A government never gets smaller, we can only slow it's growth as much as possible.
The more free money the .gov throws around the more it's subjects become dependent on it and again the more money the .gov needs.
