When the mandatory parts of the budget are included, it is a 17.5% budget increase spread over two years.

true, but the point of the argument is that it's no different from when republicans were in charge. The same increases happened in the state budget, but they hid the numbers from the media.

Right. We'll see how things go for the Democrats in 2010 after the 17.5% budget increase, civil unions, gay marriage, tax hikes, etc. BTW, Gregg is not running in 2010 so you won't have to worry about him any more....

hmmmm....Gee, I wonder why - could it be because records show Gregg helped arrange at least $66 million in federal aid for the former Pease Airforce base. Under Senate ethics rules, Gregg has to certify that federal aid he directs to specific projects was not intended solely to enrich him or his family.

There are questions about whether or not some of this information had come to light as a result of the vetting process that started when Gregg was named as a candidate for the Obama cabinet. Gregg said at the time of his withdrawal that he had philosophical differences with Obama.

Nice try GregW. Everyone who wants some real numbers on the Dem budgets can go to www.unionleader.com and read Charlie Arlinghouse's article today.

You mean that chain email from his wife wasn't legit?

I honestly can't wait until 2010. 30+% budget increase in two years of democratic control... The number don't lie regardless what GregW's wife tells you.

You mean like how Senator Feinstein didn't send any money to her husband?

About time. Most of these people will not be around for very long anyway. Why should they suffer considering we provide very powerful opiates for the folks in pain?
