Tin Mine Road in Jackson is extremely scenic. Most of the houses there were built in the 60s and 70s. Tin Mine Road goes to a higher class road and turns into Tin Mine Conservation Road at the end.
Both Jackson and Bartlett are touristy areas with many 2nd homes. Bartlett has Attitash Ski Resort. Jackson has Black Mountain and Wildcat ski areas.
Most shopping, medical, and other necessities are found a little further south in the Conway area. Overall, it is a good place to retire or vacation, but not a lot of jobs outside of tourism for the most part.
