Yes. Since 99% of their customers buy at stores, where the factory is should have no effect on store sales.
After all, Made in China/Wal Mart has done quite well.

ID.

My point was that it makes sense for an industry to locate in a state that is friendly to that industry. As some have noted, there are reasons why Hyundai, Mercedes, and Honda located in 'bammy and did not go looking in Michigan.

Michigan has a tax-it mentality, unions have enormous power there, and there are few signs that enough people there get it. So the prospects for any positive change appear remote.
Michigan almost appears doomed by their history and the habits and beliefs of its citizens and the politicians they elect.

Friendly tax laws, right to work state where your hands aren't tied by a union, weather conditions, land conditions, proximity to major transportation hubs, etc.

Given the MA/MD/CT vs. NH tax structures, if you were opening a new factory where would you go?
You'd be insane to locate in MA, with NH next door and more attractive in almost every business way.

But my point was, since this is the NH site, that the NH governator is the one who should be stealing/luring the manufacturing facilities from nearby states with anti-business and anti-gun laws, climates, and philosophies.

If you were a gun maker, would you want to locate in a state that tried via the lawsuit route to bankrupt your industry? That is sheer insanity.

It would be like an automaker hiring Ralph Nader as CEO.

I'm wondering how willing these nearby facilities would be to relocate to a pro-, vs. remaining in a hostile, environment.

Methinks there's a reason they built in NH instead of MA.

And given the current panic-driven ammo shortages, ground-up of a new ammo plant on NH soil would be smart and embrace the Live Free or Die state motto.
There are shortages of all ammo. That includes military, who expend zillions of rounds in the sandbox, law enforcement, and the tens of millions of civilian hunters and marksmen.
The ability to manufacture ammo is a national security issue also. It's not just another business.
