Funny - usually we're telling people to go get a job - any job -- or 2 or 3 if they have to -- to take responsibility and better oneself and avoid handouts... now we don't like the job someone has when they can't find work in their trained/educated field?

Maybe instead of accusing New Hampshire residents of having a bad attitude, you might want to ask what makes the people from other areas so gullible?

Wow, why is everyone so uptight? All the guy asked is why there seemed to be a larger group of rudeness in one area! I agree that no one wants to be interrupted during quality family time, or down time, but like someone else said on here, if you need a job, you take what you can take. It's not his fault he needs this as a job. And having this as a job to keep a roof over your head, does not make him an a-hole. If he turned down the job and took government welfare and laid around all day, someone would have something to say about that too. Sheesh, he works for a living, give him credit and instead worry about the illegals in this country that don't but still take our healthcare and handouts, or do work but don't pay taxes on it. He obviously has experience in talking to people from different places, and has only pointed out what he has noticed. Everyone is jumping down his throat for speaking his mind. Yet, I find it funny, you are one of the other 48-49 states that has no problem stereotyping NJ or NY people. Right?????? We're all attitude and rude here. Right???? Don't dish it out if you can't take it. Maybe you are rude people, deal with it. I live here and I deal with what people say all the time. And I am not a rude person, but I understand where we get our rep from and that yes, there are people out there who are rude enough to ruin it for you. Answer the man's question and stop acting like no one in NH ever had an attitude problem

I don't like unprompted phone calls. I doubt if anyone does.
I cancelled my land line after the last election because my phone was ringing off the hook and it was always someone asking me to vote for their best choice.
Cell phones cut down on telemarketing calls..plus if you have to pay for incoming calls, you have good reason to berate the marketer.

My wife works in tech support. She can tell if the person is calling from New England (especially Mass) because they tend to be more rude. The funny thing is that in person I have found people in New Hampshire to be incredibly nice.
Everyone hates to be interrupted by a telemarketer, but I guess people in NH like to voice their displeasure moreso than other states.

I am very nice to telemarketers and politely ask them to remove me from their list and not to call me again; never really had a problem.
I had one guy from the "young jay-cees" or something get angry at me calling me un-American for not wanting to donate; I spoke with his supervisor's supervisor, that was unacceptable.
